Researchers found women who took part in a stress management program while undergoing an assisted fertility treatment. Had a one-hundred-sixty percent greater chance of becoming pregnant. They followed nearly a hundred patients who didn’t get pregnant after their first round of in-vitro fertilization. For the second round, half had stress management, while the rest didn’t. The stress management group was much more likely to get pregnant. Researchers say the findings show stress may have an impact on fertility and a woman’s ability to conceive. They presented the findings at the American society for reproductive medicine’s meeting in Atlanta.
