The woman responsible to that huge apartment fire in McAllen will not
be facing any time behind bars.
Today, the woman who is accused of causing the blaze, which left
dozens of people homeless, has been sentenced to probation.
Shannon Marie Mills pleaded guilty to two counts of deadly conduct.
You may recall the fire from last September.
Mills told authorities she took medication just before smoking a cigarette.
According to neighbors, Mills walked away from the building after the
fire started.
Allegedly she had not called 911.
