Woman Admits to Affair with Alton Chief of Police

Police have released the mug shot of the woman accused of having a sexual affair with the Alton Chief of police.
Cynthia Garza Garcia is charged with one count of public lewdness and was given a $5,000 p.r. bond. Mission police said Garcia provided them a written statement that she had been having an affair with Flores since 2006.
Garcia said she and the chief would meet behind the auto zone and other locations “for intimacy”. But it was an Auto Zone manager that made the claim. That person told police he saw the couple having sex in the front seat of an unmarked Alton police unit.
