Patricia Cardenas, a Valley resident, has found a home for the unused medical supplies she had left over and wanted to donate to others who could use them, following the death of her 3-year old daughter.
But Cardenas is not only watching the devastation and suffering in Haiti. She’s one of many Valley people who are reaching out and helping alleviate the pain and suffering that the people of Haiti are experiencing.
Congregations like Trinity Worship Center are mobilizing support to Haiti from the Valley by receiving donations, and it can be monetary donations, food, clothing, medicine, etc anything to help with the recovery efforts.
This church is open to receive donations Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 5pm. The first shipment is targeted to leave on the 29th of January. The job is not only accepting donations, volunteers like Cardenas are also needed to sort thru all donations and make sure everything is properly identified and categorized.
