UTPA Signs Agreement with STC

This week marks another historic signing of one of thirty articulation agreements between the University of Texas Pan American and South Texas College that will result in more seamless transfer by students from the community college to the university. 20 more articulation agreements between the two institutions are planned. Work will begin on the next 10 programs in the fall 2009 semester and conclude with the last 10 agreements to be completed in spring 2010. The agreements are part of a transfer success action plan that has also resulted in the initiation of the UTPA Transfer Center conveniently located across the street from STC to help with student advisement and transfer to UTPA.
