The disappearance of two teenage girls after a family barbecue has authorities searching the valley all the way through San Antonio.
14 -year- old Alanah Villarreal and 13-year-old Marisa Salinas have been missing since Monday after disappearing from a family barbecue located at 2113 Ricardo drive. The girls were last seen around eight pm the night of the barbecue. Marissa is from mission, and Alanah is from the city of McAllen.
Police specializing in cyber crime are looking into some emails that may give leads to the girls location. An anonymous phone call was placed to the police office saying the girls were seen at a bus station in San Antonio. The valley’s authorities along with those in San Antonio are working together on this case in order to find any leads. The girl’s family members are asking them to come home as soon as possible.
The mission police are giving out a one thousand dollar reward for the whereabouts of Marrissa and Alanah. They have also been in contact with school personnel and anyone who has had contact with them the last few days they were seen.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Marissa and Alanah you are encouraged to call the mission police department at (956) 581- TIPS
