The number of children suffering from food allergies has jumped

A dramatic increase has been reported in the number of children suffering from food allergies. According to the centers for disease control, the number of kids hospitalized for these allergies has gone up 18 percent since 1993. Scientists aren’t sure if these problems are now more common, or if they’re just being reported more often. Nuts, milk, eggs, fish and wheat are among the foods most likely to cause allergies, and allergic reactions can be life threatening.
If you consume a food you’re allergic to. You can have trouble breathing; break out in hives.
Fox News health.com managing editor Doctor Manny Alvarez, says chemical exposure has a lot to do with the rise in allergy cases.
