Tetanus shot recommended to those in Starr County.

Authorities in Starr County are saying that because of the recent rains, tetanus shot for people in that area wouldn’t be a bad idea.
The health department is recommending anyone that has not had this shot in over 10 years do so.
Dr. Bryan smith of the Texas department of health urges anyone that has had contact with stagnant water to please wash their hands and legs. The biggest problem dr. Smith says is contracting infections through already open wounds.
