Teen Busted with Million Dollar Cocaine

CBP officers in Brownsville busted more than a million dollars worth of cocaine over the weekend. It was on Saturday at the Brownsville and Matamoros International Bridge that the driver of a 2005 gold Chevy pick-up truck was referred to secondary inspection. An imaging system revealed anomalies in 18-yer-old Leonardo Antonio Gomez Garcia’s vehicle and rooster the narcotic detector dog sniffed out the drugs. 14 packages of more than 30lbs. of cocaine were found in the trucks back seat. The drugs were valued at more than a million dollars. The teen is in the custody of ICE agents and faces federal drug charges.
