Brownsville police arrested several individuals yesterday all accused of prostitution. A special investigations unit conducted a sting in downtown Brownsville. Five individuals were caught engaging in sex acts for money. Irma Lozano Angie Marie Castillo Jesus Eduardo Aguilar Criselda Prieto Martin Herrera Hernandez were identified as the suspects. Testimony continues in Govena Trial

Cameron County (KFXV) – Deputy Marin Hernandez testifies in his mother’s trial. Marissa Govena is facing charges for her involvement in an accident that caused the death of 37 year old Mary Tipton after she allegedly struck with her vehicle. In court deputy Hernandez says his mother told him she had struck an unknown object while driving on FM 803 one Rainy Night in February 2015. Teen Shot during Home Invasion has died

Pharr (KFXV) – A 16 year old who was shot during a home invasion one week ago has died. Police responded to the 900 block of Dreyer Road to reports of shots being fired on the 13th. Victims told police that a group of armed masked individuals entered their home demanding money and various items from a 46 year old man and 16 year old who were at The Residence at the time. Home Invasion Leaves Two Hospitalized

  Pharr (KFXV) — According to Pharr police, three individuals went into the home located on the 900 block of East Dreyer Street to commit a robbery around 10 pm. Once inside the residence, they shot a 48 and a 15-year-old man. They were both hospitalized — but officials have not specified where exactly the men were shot or their medical condition. Second Suspect Caught in Aggravated Robbery

Hidalgo County (KFXV) — A man, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies were after since Monday, has been arrested. We first reported on an aggravated robbery out of a rural part of Donna where two masked suspected entered a residence, one carrying an aluminum bat, and allegedly stole three hundred dollars, and a cell phone. Authorities identified 20-year-old Israel Mendez and 19-year-old, Dario Montoya as the suspects. After implicating himself, law enforcement arrested Montoya.
