NEW YORK (AP) — McDonald’s reported disappointing sales growth in the United States for the second quarter on Tuesday as the world’s biggest burger chain keeps touting its all-day breakfast menu amid its turnaround efforts. Shares were down 3 percent before the opening bell. The Oak Brook, Illinois-based company said sales rose 1.8 percent at established U.S. locations in the period. Analysts expected growth of 3.4 percent, according to FactSet. Tony Aguilar has created three new frappuccinos for customers to try on february 14th. Aguilar is an employee at a Starbucks in Tucson. He posted his creations online. Starbucks stores re-open Saturday after computer glitch prompted early closings

SEATTLE (AP) — Starbucks was back in business Saturday after a computer outage forced thousands of its stores to close early the night before. The company said the outage was resolved Friday night after several hours. EU says Apple gets illegal tax benefits in Ireland

BRUSSELS (AP) — Apple risks having to repay Ireland tax rebates worth billions of dollars after the European Union’s competition watchdog said Tuesday the company appears to be benefiting from illegal tax deals there. In a preliminary report into the company’s overseas tax practices, the 28-nation bloc’s executive Commission said the low tax treatment Ireland is granting Apple counts as state aid and could be illegal under EU law.
