FAA investigates Plane Crash which Injured Two

The Federal Aviation Administration continues to investigate a Sunday plane crash near the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport. The agency says the single-engine Cessna plane carrying two Mexican nationals might’ve run out of fuel after mechanical issues during the flight. The pilot made the emergency landing in a field on the 58 hundredth block of Boca Chica Boulevard around noon. Two People Hurt After Plane Crash in Bayview

BAYVIEW, Texas – Two passengers on board of a small plane are lucky to be alive tonight after the aircraft went down this afternoon in Cameron County. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the plane crash which happened around 3:30 pm in an open field near Bayview. DPS tells Fox 2 News, the plane went down on a federal refuge on Buena Vista between FM 510 and county airport after missing the runway. The two persons on board suffered lacerations to their faces. Authorities are not releasing names, but we’re told the victims were taken to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville for treatment. The FAA is looking into what caused the crash.
