MCALLEN (KFXV) — Police are looking into a woman’s death whose body was found at an apartment complex in McAllen. McAllen police investigate the death of a woman whose body was found last night inside an apartment located at the 2400 block of Hibiscus Avenue. Upon arrival officers reported the death of a 24 year-old identified as Jessica Hernandez. An autopsy and a toxicology report were ordered – results are still pending. Identities released in McAllen illegal gambling arrests

Police have released the identities of the individuals arrested during a raid on an illegal gambling operation in south McAllen last week. On Thursday, Authorities raided the establishment located near Dicker and 23rd Street around 3 in the afternoon. Law enforcement seized a total of a hundred and twenty-three eight-liner machines found on the property including six vehicles and approximately $38,000. 123 Illegal Gambling Machines Seized; 15 Face Charges

McAllen (KFXV) —More than a dozen people are in police custody tonight after officials raided the gaming establishment they were operating, this afternoon. Eight vehicles, 123 gambling machines and cash, drugs and weapons were seized from the premises of the illegally operated business located on Dicker Road and 23rd Streets south of the city of McAllen. 15 establishment employees were also detained. McAllen (KFXV) — Today former U.S. mailman, 43-year-old, Noe Olvera entered a “guilty” plea before a U.S. Federal judge. Olvera admitted to accepting one thousand dollars in exchange for addresses of postal ballot recipients, during the 2014 Hidalgo County Sheriff’s race.
