ALTON (KFXV) — A mother and her two children in alton are left with nothing after their home catches fire. Take a look – the house practically gutted by the blaze. It’s located on the 1700 block of Chicago Street. You can see how the fire went through the house destroying everything in its path. Luckily the mother and her two kids were not there. Olmito (KFXV) — The Brownsville Fire Department says after fighting the fire for over 36 hours, the blaze consumes over 300 acres of land. These images from Brownsville Fire Department were released to appreciate the severity of the incident. Officials say the ordeal started as a grass fire that spread to different areas damaging 3 abandoned buildings. Weslaco Home Goes Up In Flames

Weslaco (KFXV) — A home goes up in flames. Fire department fire crews fought the fire on Westgate Dr. and Sugarcane on the northwest side of the city. En route crews called out heavy smoke visible from the distance and reported a working duplex apartment structure fire upon arrival. McAllen (KFXV) — Authorities are also releasing the security video of a second arson in McAllen. This time the target was a vehicle outside of a repair shop. Police describe him as a red haired man standing at 5 feet 9 inches wearing a black t shirt and blue jeans. The incident took place at the 1900 block of Business 83 in the Pueblo Tires parking lot. Two Children Die in Olmito Fire

Olmito (KFXV) — A night of tragedy after the death of two children who were lost in a fire. Now authorities open an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze and why the children perished. Police and firefighters arrived on the scene on the 9000 block of Pagosa Street and found two children ages 3 and 7 badly burned.
