MCALLEN (KFXV) — The city of McAllen honored 300 women today – recognizing their work in the community as part of the city’s celebration of International Women’s Day. The women highlighted today, hold jobs that were previously only held by the opposite sex. According to McAllen officials, the city has 34 departments, in which 18 women hold management positions. ALTON (KFXV) — A mother and her two children in alton are left with nothing after their home catches fire. Take a look – the house practically gutted by the blaze. Child Pornographer Gets 120 Months in Prison

McALLEN (KFXV) — In McAllen, a 27-year-old man is headed to prison on child pornography charges. Investigators discovered, Jorge Trevino-Blanco’s computer received child porn through a peer-to-peer network online. Blanco admitted to exchanging the illegal files for four years. Agents seized two laptops, and an external hard drive containing 123 videos and 282 images of children from three to 12 years of age, engaged in sadistic and violent acts.
