Authorities Investigating Series of Robberies

Hidalgo County (KFXV) — Authorities continue investigating three different home robberies by masked men. One of robberies happened at a house in a rural part of Edinburg early Sunday . The victim reported that hooded men demanded drugs and money . The suspect took the electronics they could find and fled. The other two thefts happened in the city of Mission under similar circumstances. In one of the cases, a resident was beaten with a pistol in the head. LA JOYA (KFXV) —  Right now gaming machine businesses in La Joya are closed.  The city stopped issuing permits for gaming establishments. This is a property in La Joya previously known as an amusement machine business.
