Suspects at Large for Aztek Car Wash Shooting

Investigators say 24-year-old Josue Zavala and 22-year-old Alexis Uribe face charges for criminal attempted murder in connection to the shooting at the Aztek Car Wash on East University Drive. Zavala is a member of the Texas Syndicate Gang. Police say the victim managed to dodge the bullets, but he was ht by flying glass. The shooting occurred around 11am near University Drive and 27th Avenue. That’s when several suspects in two different colored SUV’s approached the location and fired at least 10 rounds at the victim’s vehicle. Edinburg police believe the shooting may have been over a load of drugs that the victim owed the suspects.
