Suspected Hargill Killer Found in Illinois

The suspected killer in the death of a woman found dead in a field near Hargill has been arrested in Illinois. Jose Juan Sanchez was tracked down by the U.S. Marshall’s and arrested for the death of Laura Isabel Reyes. Sanchez and a confessed accomplice that was arrested earlier this week are presumed to be the men behind the death of Reyes. Officials retrieved the graphic 9-1-1- call made just before Reyes was supposedly beaten over the head with a stone and dumped in a field. Authorities say it looks to be a crime of passion. Sanchez has threatened his ex-girlfriend with killing her if she ever moved on.
