“Special Meeting” in Brownsville puts superintendent in hot seat

The president of the board of trustees for the Brownsville independent school district has posted a special meeting to have the B.I.S.D. Superintendent Hector Gonzalez suspended and investigated. Fox 2 news brought you the story at how at a special January 6th meeting trustees unanimously rejected Gonzales’ offer to resign in exchange for a one-year consultant’s contract at his current salary. The special meeting will be held in the Brownsville independent school district offices at 5:30pm. Fox 2 news will keep you current on the development of this story.
