Every year, local and state law enforcement agencies increase patrolling and enforcement efforts around the 4th of July holiday to minimize the number of car accidents. This year’s crackdown on drunk driving begins at midnight. The best thing to do is to plan a safe way home before the festivities begin (i.e. a designated driver).
