San Juan P.D. Releases K-9′s

Release the hounds! The San Juan Police Department has two new K-9 units on the streets. The dogs waisting no time to get to work. Felipe Garza, Gabriel Cabrera, Alejandro Rios, Jose Juarez and Jose Juarez Jr. were all busted in San Juan while transporting nearly 2,000lbs. of marihuana worth nearly $3 million. It is a great start for agent “Chili”, a Belgian Malinois, that is capable of detecting many forms of narcotics and explosives. The cost of the K-9 agents and their rigorous training is roughly over $11,000. The five individuals arrested were charged with possession of marihuana and slapped with a $100,000.
