The man caught on tape mugging and dragging a woman in a junior’s supermarket has been caught. Today in the city of San Juan he was arraigned.
The man seen in this surveillance video mugging and dragging a woman outside a junior’s supermarket in San Juan was caught this morning. Ironically Jorge Palacios was attempting to report his vehicle stolen to the Pharr police department this morning when an officer recognized him. San Juan P.D. was then called and they in turn picked him up.
Palacios is also wanted for a similar robbery in McAllen occurred just moments before his San Juan mugging. In fact the evidence against him is staggering. Palacios was positively identified by the San Juan victim in a photo lineup and there this.
Today before judge Ricardo Perez, Palacios seemed to be falling asleep. In fact, Fox 2 news has learned that it is suspected that Palacios was under the influence of cocaine during his arraignment. Regardless of his condition, he was officially charged with aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and was given a $250,000 dollars bond.
Palacios is expected to face charges in the city of McAllen as well.
