Run-Off Election Voting Begins

Early voting has begun for the run-off election of two city commission seats in Brownsville. The races up for grabs are the at-large b seat between Rose M. Z. Gowen and Carlos C. Ayala Jr. and the district 3 race between Melissa Zamora and incumbent Carlos A. Cisneros. Early voting runs through June 2 for the June 6 election day. Voters can cast their ballots at any one of the following locations from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and extended hours June 1 and 2.
