The city was basically paralyzed today, with little vehicle traffic, and no school

Some of the information shared between relatives over the internet reported military personnel conducting searches in different areas of Reynosa, but fox 2 news has not received official information of any shootings.

Reynosa law officials say it was all a cruel joke that spread like wildfire over the internet.
