Rubio’s defense team asking court for change of venue

After a week of having been found competent to stand trial, john Allen Rubio and his defense were back in court today asking for a change of venue.
During this time, the visiting judge Noe Gonzalez and the prosecution argued about the next date in which to start the new capital murder trial for the deaths of his three children in 2003.
The next hearing has been set for March 25th. It is until then that it will be decided whether or not the case will be tried in Cameron County.
