A band of aggravated robbers stake their claim and then head for the hills, but they wind up being busted of all places, inside a school.
At around 2:30 this afternoon, police say three male suspects robbed a trucking business on the 2700 block of sugar road in Edinburg. The men waltzed into the payroll department brandishing a handgun and made off with an un-determined amount of cash. They fled the scene in a white Chrysler intrepid and crashed it into a fence off Rogers road, west of Edinburg north high school. With police hot on their trial, they fled into the school where they were eventually apprehended. A revolver pistol and the money stolen were recovered as well.
