June 3, 2008 News   Print Print   Email this Article Email this Article   No Comments

Authorities need your help tonight in catching a Brownsville robber.

Authorities say the man held up both a Whataburger in the mentioned city as well as a stripes convenience store on price road. And although the suspect did not manage to get away with anything in either case, police say the incident is unique.

“He’s committed two robberies in one night where the clerks have felt threatened by him. He has not actually displayed the weapon, but all indications are that he is armed with a handgun, pushing the object up through his shirt and pointing it at the clerk and another employee at the Whataburger.”

Through the stripes convenience store surveillance camera, authorities believe the man was intoxicated at the time of the robbery…tonight they need your help in locating this man to put an end to his crime spree…

Police are looking for a male suspect with salt and pepper hair close to fifty years of age along with the red ford pick-up truck with shiny metal box he was driving. If you should have any information on this suspect or his whereabouts, you can contact police at 584-8477.
