The Texas department of transportation and Fox 2 news wants to keep you posted on the current road conditions.
In Cameron County, FM 2556 from business 83 souths to US 281 is closed due to flooding. FM 506 from Tio Cano to coco is still flooded.
Keep in mind that for current road conditions visit the TXDOT website at www.txdot.gov or call the automated phone system at 1-800-452-9292.
TXDOT wants to advice road motorists that they should never cross roadways with water because the depth of the water is unknown.
