PURSUIT LEADS AUTHORITIES TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DETAINED

Also another group of illegal immigrants was detained by authorities in La Joya.
It all happened around seven 30 in the morning on highway 83 in La Joya. Authorities were alerted by a anonymous after the pick-up truck where the group was traveling in a neighborhood of the area. La Joya police department immediately contacted the border patrol agents..
“We had a shot pursuit, it was about 45 miles an hour, the individuals attempted to a right hand turn, and apparently didn’t make it sharp enough and he went into the…. And u can see that bodies were flying into every direction”
In their effort to escape from authorities the group of 20 illegal immigrants run into the neighborhood and some of them even tried to break into houses. Border patrol agents took one of them into custody while 2 more where transported to the McAllen medical center. Authorities continue to investigate the identity of the group of illegal immigrants, 17 of them remain at large.
