Family members of a Brownsville woman that was killed in the crossfire of a chase in Matamoros are distraught by the tragedy. A stray bullet killed Lisbeth Marin Garcia late Friday night as members of the Mexican Army chased and fired upon a truck. According to sources, at least one of those bullets ended striking the 36-year-old woman on her left arm. Several people congregated outside the victims home to protest the presence of the Mexican Army who is already credited with at least two deaths in the past 10 days. The protesters are demanding the army leave in another challenge for the Mexican government as it struggles to quell escalating drug violence since the Calderon administration ordered Mexican Army troops into Mexican border cities and many other cities throughout Mexico.
