Police Suspect Gang Involvement in Shooting

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that left that three people injured north of Alamo. Authorities say it was just around 9 o’clock Sunday night when several suspects open fired at a residence near the intersection of Alberta and Mockingbird Roads. The shooting left three people injured; two of them have been released while the third remains hospitalized. Authorities suspect the shooting to be gang related. Investigators are asking anyone that may information on this shooting to contact them at 668-TIPS.
