POLICE SUSPECT FOUL PLAY IN WOMAN’S DISAPPERANCE

The disappearance of a Mission woman and the subsequent investigation has Mission P.D. suspecting foul play. Mission woman Josefina Lugo was reported missing from her home, the elderly community of Evergreen Manor on Monday. The sixty-eight year old woman was last heard from on Friday of last week. The investigation into her disappearance has led Mission Police to suspect foul play. The person of interest: her husband Pedro Lugo. Although this continues to be a missing person case, neighbors of Josefina Lugo fear the worst. In a press conference held today, police officials told Fox 2 News that after 17 years of marriage Josefina and Pedro Lugo had recently filed for divorce. A possible timeline of events was also detailed by it. Martin Garza. He explains that they have reason to believe that Pedro Lugo visited his son’s home on Mile 3 and Doffing, then with his son went to the bus station and departed for Mexico.
The family of Josefina Lugo is asking for the help of the community.
In the meantime, Mission P.D. and Josefina’s family alike are hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. Fox 2 news has learned that Mexican police authorities have been informed that Pedro Lugo is a person of interest in this case and are actively on the lookout.
