Not getting enough sleep could be a prescription for type-two diabetes. You’ve probably already heard not shorting your sleep time can contribute to heart problems and obesity.
Now university of buffalo researchers say people who get less than six hours of sleep a night appear to have an increased risk of developing blood sugar problems.
This condition can lead to type-two diabetes… Which develops when the body makes too much insulin and doesn’t efficiently use the insulin it does make. Researchers say the study supports growing evidence that there’s a connection between lack of sleep with a wide range of serious health issues.
