New international bridge for Donna and Rio Bravo

The U.S. and Mexico continue to build their relationship as a new bridge in the city of Donna is to stimulate a lagging economy and stir up tourism in the valley and Mexico.
The governor of the state of Tamulipas Eugene Hernandez Florez is excited about the new project and announced that they have started the first stage of the construction of the international bridge Rio-Bravo-Donna.
Florez aims to create a bridge that will help with commercial traffic to and from Mexico. The bridge will build a road that will serve the linked city of Rio Bravo to the international crossing. Many people were in attendance at the press conference today to show their support of the bridge. They made it clear that it is an important project for both the U.S. and Mexico.
With the advancements of this bridge the state of Tamulipas is now the Mexican state with the most borders with the United States.
The bridge is expected to be complete by 2009 and it will be a gateway between the United States and Mexico.
