Testimony continues in the case of 18-year-old Christopher Hughes who is accused of murdering his mother last year.
Prosecutors allege that Hughes shot his mother, 44-year-old Laura Doyle eight times and then set her corpse ablaze in April 2007 on the family’s property just north of Monte alto. But defense attorneys argue that all evidence is entirely circumstantial.
The crime weapon was found at the house of one of Christopher
