Motorcyclist Hurled Several Feet in Crash

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition after being hurled several feet in a car crash.
The accident happened at the intersection of 107 and Moorefield; north of Alton. The victim apparently hit a vehicle, which in turn, catapulted him under an 18-wheeler that was driving by, two other vehicles crashed as a result as well.
Alton police along with D.P.S. troopers are investigating the cause of the accident. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.
