Mock Drill: Hurricane Preps

City of Brownsville also underwent a mock drill in preparation for this hurricane season. The emergency drill took place at the city library and not only included city law enforcement and emergency officials but stores like Wal-Mart, HEB as well. This years efforts were also distinctly different than last years in that Matamoros state police were also in attendance to work out details regarding what would happen in the event of an evacuation. All in all, those in attendance worked to learn better and more efficient ways of re-acting in case of a hurricane.
