Mexico loses a soldier in overnight shootout

A Mexican army soldier was killed and four others have been wounded in an overnight shootout between a military convoy and a group of gunmen.
According to sources, the dead soldier has been identified as twenty-eight year old Rafael Lopez Roque.
Lopez received a bullet wound to the left side of his head and died instantly. The gunfire broke out just before midnight near the villa Florida colonia in Reynosa. The other injured soldiers are said to remain in a hospital tonight. Authorities have been stoic regarding this incident so it is unknown if there were any deaths from the opposing group.
