Mcallen kids get free school supplies

The kiddos were out in full swing in McAllen today as they waited in line with their family and friends to get free school supplies.
The city of McAllen along with the McAllen police department hosted the event for those kids who are in need. It was geared toward families who needed a little extra help after hurricane dolly’s visit. The event was a huge success for the elementary school kids, and we’re told some 1500 students were able to receive free supplies.
