McAllen Early Votes Show Close Race

Voters in the city of McAllen had the opportunity to make their voices heard. Proposition 1 would amend the city charter so the mayor and the city commission keep the right to make decisions on contract issues by prohibiting outside arbitration. And proposition 2 would amend the city charter to require that certain contract disputes affecting fire and police employees would be decided by arbitrators. At the moment early vote results show 55 percent for proposition one and 45 percent against. Meanwhile early vote results show 51percent for proposition 2 and 49 percent against it a very close race for both propositions. McAllen city officials tell Fox2 news it maybe 10 o
