Matamoros Man Charged for La Paloma Murder

Authorities in Brownsville detained the man that allegedly shot and
killed a tire shop owner. Today the man faces murder charges.
Pedro Rodriguez is being charged for the shooting death of 44-year-old
Jose Garza.
The incident occurred late Wednesday afternoon at the business on FM
732 in La Paloma.
Garza was hit twice in the chest and succumbed to his injuries moments later.
Investigators told FOX 2 NEWS that the animosity between both men
stemmed from an unsettled debt involving tires.
The suspect, originally from Matamoras, is facing a $500,000 bond.
