Man Tortured to Death

After the body of a Miguel Aleman man was found abandoned, authorities have confirmed he died as a result of torture. 54-year-old Homero Chapa’s body was found wet and stripped of his clothing in a neighborhood called “Guardados de Abajo” between Reynosa and Miguel Aleman. Witnesses say the victim had been detained by Mexican military just hours before his death. Ironically enough, the Mexican official in the investigation, was struck by a military unit while leaving the scene of the crime. Both cases are still under investigation
