Man Shot Inside Car in Broad Daylight

A man is shot inside his car in broad daylight and drives to mechanic shop for help. At around 2 o clock this afternoon, officers responded to the area of dicker road and Cage Boulevard in Pharr in reference to several shots fired.
Upon arrival they discovered that 47-year-old Pedro De Anda had driven himself to a mechanic shop further down the road. Police say De Anda had pulled into the driveway of a residence to turn around, when one of the suspects got off a second vehicle and began to shoot.
De Anda was transported to McAllen Medical Center where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Police have no motive nor have they made any arrests yet. If you have any information regarding this incident, you are urged to contact the Pharr police Crimestoppers hotline at 787-TIPS.
