Man hospitalized after Assault

San Benito police are investigating an aggravated assault that left one man hospitalized. However, officers have yet to find the aggressor responsible for attacking 32-year-old Joe Lopez. It all happened Sunday after midnight at the “Tommy Bar Saloon” on 160 South Travis Street. The victim is said to be in stable condition after being beaten over the head and treated for a laceration.
