Man Found Dead Near Ware Road

DPS troopers are investigating the death of a McAllen man early this morning.

27 yr old James Edwin Vogel was found dead inside his vehicle in a canal near Ware Road North of Mile 17th. DPS officials tell Fox2 News they suspect Vogel might have been driving under the influence when somehow he lost control of his 2004 Chevy Silverado. An autopsy was ordered to determine exactly how Vogel died.
