A Weslaco man loses control of his car and slams into a utility pole. Police responded to the intersection of border avenue and hackberry drive early Monday morning. Apparently, 26-year-old Edgar Cornejo was headed south on Border Avenue when he somehow lost control of his vehicle and swerved into a utility pole. Police are investigating to case to determine whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
