Local gang member arrested

The Hidalgo county sheriffs department has arrested a local gang member for his alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting.
22-year-old Jorge Adalberto Reyes junior, a member of the Vallucos has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a 19-year-old male.
Apparently Reyes was traveling in a white car when he began shooting at a group of people and wounded the one male who remains in critical condition. Reyes is facing several charges including, aggravated robbery, evading arrest and attempted homicide.
The Vallucos are an Hidalgo county gang that have 72 members incarcerated and another 853 roaming aimlessly about the county.
