This is Stupid. This is BULL****. ITs tha same F-ing Bull****. The Deleon family defend their own as do the Montoya family. It NEVER ends. Montoya was my uncle whom i loved very much but regret never having told him cus i hated tha way he was… Roque Montoya was a bad person and a criminal. yes..as well as was Elias DeLeon. Elias Deleon was a bad person and a criminal. As well as was Roque Montoya. Neither were angels. As are alot of ppl here on this Earth. Yea shit happens..and even tho i hate elias for wut he did it doesnt change ne thing. they both pay for wut theyv done. my uncle suffered for 2 wks. for his life in ICU. as did his family. This is how he paid for all his wrong doings in life. With Pain. and now hes gone. Even tho it hurts. he will no longer hurt himself or others nor feel pain. He is happy now…for that im happy. Elias, although i may feel hate for him now. tha family knows that he will hurt as well as his family for his time in jail. Thats his punishment. Pero todavi falta La Justicia de dios. Like i sed..everyone pays for their sins before they die. My uncle already paid for his sins. with pain. and with his familys pain. i can only pray for tha deleons family cus u will be dealt with tha same moneda. And all this bull about he sed she sed. needs to stop. cus the Deleons have theyr own version of tha story and the Montoyas have theirs. and of course no ones gonna budge. Solo tha ppl that were there know wut really happend. and even then u ppl shld know better…that ppl add and exaggerate and delete stuff from their own versions. so stop it. you guys look like fools wuts done is done for both parties. This is How life is…and you guys can continue this fued and who knows maybe becus of this somewhere down tha line yrs from know we both will lose more family members cus of this fued u both are instigating. its in tha hands of god. and my condolenses to both families. We will all suffer.

Well what ever it is and what ever people say Elias De Leon is very loved by his family much the less wife and kids and they are there for him every step of the way and if he had not taken Montoyas life it would of been him who we would of missed that man lived his life to the fullest partied and ran in to some trouble with the law he even murdered a man in mexico so i see it wrong for you to say that it is not right to kill someone when montoya did it him self and the family of the other person are suffering for the murder of his son and if people would not talk bad about him when he was alive it’s because they knew what type of character he was. Montoya had the chance to make things better with Elias De Leon and what did he do took advantage of the situation he was just a hard man to talk to because he was so violent if he knew that it was out of his league to pick on a younger man why did he not just avoid the situation. I guess he still thought in his mind he could conquer him but the tables always turn.

Well I’d like to make a statement that I hope makes a difference in people’s hearts. I feel that its a gesture to say Elias DeLeon did have the opportunity to make things right but only a mature person could be so voulnerable to have done the right thing. I certainly am a part of Roque Montoya’s family and even if he isn’t here to stand up for himself, he has plenty of people that do stand up for him, though people only speak so negative of him, would not have done so after his death, people speak what they want without substantial proof, but those are the people with a dirty heart. I do have to say that only the family always knows their very own blood, and he and his life was a good and proud one. His marriage life was personal and was nothing like what his enemies say. I do believe it isn’t right for any human being to murder another. I feel that if Elias’ intention was to murder him if there was a confrontation that started because his father didn’t have the ability to do the talking for himself.

Everyone looks at it like poor Montoya died. But really no one knows what he was capable of if De Leon would of died maybe everyone would of been saying poor kid he died in the hands of and older man who knew what he was doing. Think about it, what if things were turn around everyone right now would be sayng nice things about De Leon. Roque prostitute his wife and got her into drugs that is the reason those kids didn’t have a family. Roque was a boxer yes but when those years were over he robbed casas de cambio en Reynosa, Tamps he spend a couple of years in el penal for armed robbery. He was addicted to all kinds of drugs and was nobody’s friend he did what he pleased him with anybody. Especially when it was about getting his drugs. Fox news please get the story straight before giving it confirm anybody’s testimony. It’s too easy to say oh it was roque’s life what if he would of killed De Leon. He was a man with experienced and knowledge you could say that he should of prevented the fight but I guess all the drugs in his system took over him sad for him because he’s now in place where he won’t hurt anybody.

First of all let me start by saying that the people can say what ever they want it wont change what happen true but i believe that they should keep there silly comments to themselves because no one will truly know what Montoya did to that guy to provoke him if it would of not been Montoya laying in the coffin it would of been his life that would of been taken because that bastard had the habit of killing his own enemy’s threw the back when they least expected him that’s when he would come around to get you so yes I am glad that bad people are taken out of this country America needs no more violence from Mexican wet backs like Montoya. I think this Country has had enough with the war. So next time you decide to post a comment really think about it is it worth preaching Montoya so much? Just ask his kids why there parents are not together.

Elias Deleon Jr walked up to Roque Montoya shook his hand introducing himself. Roque’s reaction was not pleasant so Roque starts insulting Deleon. Deleon was offended and answers back the bar tender was a friend of Roque so he gets Deleon thrown out. Elias Deleon leaves the bar and goes to Vaches. Minutes later Roque walks in behind him with his friends. Because Roque already knew who Elias was he started giving him dirty looks and started yelling insulting remarks.Not only that but Roque also raises his shirt showing Deleon that he was armed with a 38 or a 357 caliber hand gun.Elias Deleon tells Roque I already got thrown out of the other bar because of you, quit showing me your gun cause if I get a hold of one I will use it. Roque responded you are not going to do shit you are just like your fucking faget father I’ll fuck both of you up any time, then he slapped Elias Deleon. Elias Deleon felt threatned knowing that not only was Roque Montoya an exprofessional boxer but he was also armed and according to some stories with proof he was also dangerous and would not hesetait to kill. So Elias Deleon got a hold of a 12 gauge shot gun and shot Roque Montoya.And like I said to bad Roque Montoya died but I feel that if he had not followed Deleon and provoked him he would still be alive. I’m not saying Deleon did right in killing Montoya but please get the story straihgt fox news.

Hi first of all I would like to say to bad Roque Montoya died, but you guys have to get the story straight. For starters Elias Deleon Sr. and Roque Montoya never fought each other as profesionall boxers.
Roque Montoya was Elias Deleon’s sparring partner when Deleon traveled to Venezuela to fight the 3 times world champion Betulio Gonzalez. Elias Deleon Jr was provoked by Roque Montoya after Roque insulted, slapped,and showed Elias he was armed with a 38caliber or a 357caliber according to Elias Deleon’s statement. The problem started at the players club in Mcallen on 23d s.t.

Hi,
I was in the room diagonally to that man in Intensive Care Unit. I was in the room for a fractured scull. I remebered seeing all the relatives going in there with the sadness and the preacher the night the man passed. It was a really unfortunate sight knowing I just lost my brother in Monterrey, Mexico. People that do serious things like that and have a life time to know the consiquences and the valor of life have to be brought to a life changing spotlight.
My Condolenses for the young girls I saw that shouldn’t have gone through that I know what its like losing somebody so sudden and close to you.

I read on the internet about the tragic death of the Roque Montoya. It is really sad that someone would take revenge on a situation such as a “bar fight”. Sr. DeLeon can now feel “proud” of what his son did. He should be the one in jail right along with his son for pulling the trigger. The “MACHO” attitude he carries has now placed his son behind bars for a very long time. The grim reminder of his lifestyle will haunt him everytime he visits his child in jail. Que Triste. My condolences to Young De Leons mother. You are the victim in this crime. You have to see your son locked up and subjected to more hate and anger on the inside. Wake up GENTE! Educate the system don’t populate it with more crime!
