Jaws of life used in 4-car collision

The intersection on Bryan and Business 83 remained closed for at least an hour this afternoon after the driver of this Chevy Silverado truck caused a mayor accident. According to Mission authorities, the driver tried to flee a minor accident he was involved in just South of the intersection. The man ran a red light and hit at least four other vehicles. Several people had to be taken to local hospitals with minor injuries. The use of Jaws of Life was necessary to extricate the passenger of this vehicle. Preliminary reports indicate the driver responsible for this chaos works for the United States department of agriculture. Tonight, he is being questioned by police. Investigators say alcohol may not be a factor in this mayor accident. However the driver of the pick up truck may face charges for fleeing the scene of an accident.
