Laura Garza had dreams of becoming a dancer in the bright lights of New York City, but all of that came to a halt when the 25 year old went missing from a prestigious New York nightclub just one week ago.
Laura was last seen with a man by the name of Michael Mele, who happens to be a registered sex offender. The two left the marquee club in New York around 4 am Wednesday morning and Laura has been missing ever since. Investigators believe Mele may have taken the young girl back to his home and killed her, although her body has not been found. Mele was arrested in 2007 for lewd behavior against other woman and is now in custody for violating his parole. Laura’s family says she is a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful heart.
Mele has bite marks on his hands and scratch marks on his neck and has refused to be interviewed by investigators. Authorities say Mele is missing carpet from his apartment, a large enough amount to wrap a body in. Although lauras family has not lost hope.
Investigators are waiting for Laura
